wake early and go for a surf. get in the ocean. look at what appears to be sunlit crystals that form on the ripples of liquid that drift around you. its pretty cool. the early mornings are often avoided, forgotten, yet once into the swing of them they tend to prove themselves time over. they are bloody epic. this morning was the easter weekend morning of saturday, 2012.

the waves weren’t as great as the swell drew back to a fun 2-3 foot with a freshness of a light westerly grooming earths waterpark. dbah provided the masses with fun peaks as opposed to the long ruler-edged lines that the superbank had provided water walkers so graciously with over the course of australias longest weekend. thanks again jesus. or whoever you may be.. the indigenous fella fueled this sunrise with a pretty spiritual and special vibe. i cant wait to get over going out and become a fulltime morning lover… i cant wait to surf in the sea at cooly again, not a sea of people.

peace

penthouse living - the dream in cooly… day 1.

wednesday night into thursday. amazing waves. 29 degrees. barely any wind. sunny. 2.5 metres of ese swell making it nicely into kirra. snapper was ridiculously crowded. easter and christmas can’t come soon enough staying at this place. more images of the unreal views that can be seen will follow this entry.
