it was a sunday evening. i finally got back from sydney. the pilot decided at the end of the run way that he didnt have enough fuel to get back to the gold coast… a lap of the tarmac later and i was sitting at sydney fucking domestic airport again waiting for this bunch of halfwits to get their shit together. no toilets were allowed to be used, you drinks given out and i was as tired a one-legged man in an ass kicking competition after warming up to a big nightout in sydney with a big night out in brisbane.
anyway.. i got home and hadnt surfed in days so at 10pm on a sunday night said to ravi and greg (from lyon in france), lets skate. so we did. hes pretty fucking good. you can see from the pictures that hes good. being there was even better. it was a cool night being one of the first nights of winter. but it wasnt too cold. there there two guys smoking in a dark corner and a homeless guy coughing in the shelter. apart from this we had the park to ourselves. at the end he lit of the kero bottles and threw fire.
the pictures tell the rest. it was the maddest shoot i have done without water.
